Mark Williams Ultimate 300M 40 spline Hi-Torque Axles are Forged, Machined, and Made in the USA. 

MW Ultimate 300M axles have pocket lightened flanges for additional weight savings and use a proprietary 300M aircraft grade material making it possible to add a 1" gun drill through the entire length of the shaft without sacrificing strength. MW precision hones the bore to remove any possible stress risers. The additional machining done behind the MW name plate and revised axle profile helps achieve the 14.7 pound (45%) weight savings over MW Standard Hi-Torque axles.

MW Hi-Torque high strength axles are the perfect balance of strength and price. All MW axles are designed to have increased torsional and bending capacity. This is accomplished by offering the largest axle bearing diameter possible for your particular housing end and incorporating a tapered machining from the bearing journal to the spline.  

Example weight: 17.3 pounds for a pair of 40 spline axles (no bearings and studs) fitting a 31" wide housing.
