This "D" shaped inlet has showen performance gains in some applications. The increased volume of the inlet has been an advantage in higher density altitude situations. The inlet opening has improved flow to carbs because of the flat floor. This is the JBRC547C that has been raised 3" and the rear of scoop sloped down for driver visiablity.
